Here at Canyon View, we strive to make a welcoming, engaging environment for all to feel welcome to come and worship and thank our God for all that He has done in our lives. When we gather on Sunday mornings, you'll see hands raised high and hear voices lifting up the name of Jesus. You'll also see postures of reflection and eyes closed in reverence. Our hope is that as you enter into sung worship at Canyon View, you take one step closer to knowing and experiencing God's great love for you.

WORSHIP AUDITIONS

Apply & audition to serve in the Canyon View worship ministry. The process begins with an application and follows with live auditions.
AUDITION APPLICATION

Singer Applicants

If you are auditioning as a vocalist, please prepare one of the following songs to perform:
1. How He Loves (John Mark McMillan)
2. Holy Spirit (Bryan and Katie Torwalt)
3. The More I Seek You (Kari Jobe)

● You can sing with either a live instrumentalist that will play in whatever key fits your
vocal range or you may accompany yourself if you are also an instrumentalist.
● Focus on vocal clarity, pitch accuracy, and expression as you lead in worship.

Instrumentalist Applicants

If you are auditioning as an instrumentalist (guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, etc.), please prepare
“How He Loves” in the key of C.
● You will play along with Anthony(Worship Pastor), who will lead the song on guitar and
vocals during your tryout.
● Be ready to demonstrate timing, dynamics, and ability to play collaboratively.

• Practice thoroughly before your tryout. Confidence in your preparation helps you focus on worship, not performance.
• The goal of the tryout is to assess your skills and heart for worship, not perfection. Come ready to worship!
