Easter: He Is Risen Indeed
Apr 5, 2026 • Cory Sondrol
The first people to hear that Jesus was alive were trembling, confused, and disbelieving for joy all at the same time. Most of us show up to Easter carrying something too: a fear we can't shake, a doubt we haven't said out loud, a hope that keeps getting deferred. What's striking is that Jesus didn't wait for them to sort it out before he showed up. He met their trembling, confused, grief-stricken hearts with joy, with "don't be afraid," and with a peace that went deeper than their circumstances. This message asks what Jesus says to the real feelings we bring to Easter, and what it looks like to seek him as more than just one priority among many.
